Montessori is an educational approach that was developed by a physician by the name of Maria Montessori. She observed children in their natural environment and based her method on what she observed.

Her theory states that children are humans who learn through observation, experience, and self-learning—she called this approach “scientific pedagogy.” She believed that all children are able to learn but that some needed extra help to make it possible for them to do so.

“Traditional and Agile”  Montessori Schools are those that offer a consistent curriculum, hours and discipline based on the Montessori Method. These schools follow the “Pythagorean Sequence” as taught by Maria Montessori. The aim here is to provide a non-stressful environment where student’s self development as well as academic progress are not compromised by rigid schedules or negative environment.
