ENROLL A CHILD
The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn.
- Maria Montessori
RESPECT THE CHILD
To develop the whole child by providing an authentic Montessori education in a loving and nurturing environment, where children have the freedom to explore and learn, develop social skills and grow into independent, self confident individuals who are able to excel in all their endeavors.
Everything about a Montessori classroom fosters independence. You first start with the classroom that is prepared to allow the child to do for themselves what an adult would often do for a child. This allows children to develop pride when they “do it themselves” without asking for help from an adult. A Montessori classroom provides a prepared environment where children are able to develop independence.
Our staff strives to bring out the best in our students by balancing the Montessori method with the traditional approach thus preparing the children for public or private schools in the later years.
Mixed age groups not only offer a wide range of activities to spark children’s interests they also enable children to learn from others and by helping others.
Freedom for children to work at their own pace, without interruption, choosing from a wide range of activities that are developmentally challenging and appropriate.
Respect each child as an individual personality with unique talents and teach them to respect others, their community and the environment around them.
Precious Beginnings Montessori Academy offers a variety of fine arts, foreign language and fitness programs such as Music, Science Lab, Computer Lab, Yoga, and Spanish classes, which are part of our curriculum.
Allow children to explore so that they find things out for themselves, make mistakes and correct them independently.
PBMA is a wonderful school!
The teachers are wonderful and loving, and the new director Mary is very approachable, and she DOES listen and take your requests seriously…
They really take the parent connection very seriously. You can talk to them about any specifics you want for your kids, and they’ll try to accommodate. Also, they take events seriously and make them very special.
We like PBMA as much as our kids do!
We like PBMA as mush as our kids do. All the staff show campassion to the kids and it is visible to all the parents. The school not only provides excellent academic curriculum but also provides a healthy environment with lots of encouragement where the kids can build relationships, build their own confidence and foster their love for learning.
PBMA also provides vegetarian foods and we love it that they don’t serve food with added sugar.
Like a Second Family!
We looked at several schools vefore finding PBMA, and we’ve been lucky enough to have our daughter there for the past five years!
The school has been like a second family to her and her teachers consistently show kindness and generosity! They’ve absolutely helped her develop her confidence and sense of self. We Love PBMA!

The Montessori Classroom
- Bree Van Nes
A Montessori class is like no other,
Calm and peaceful, neutral in color
Amazing materials to challenge the mind,
And countless opportunities to grow and to shine,
A harmonious tone, where grace and courtesy are seen,
Children helping, children learning, exploring why leaves are green,
A joyous community where independence abounds,
Learning through the senses, sandpaper letters to learn the sounds,
Learning about the continents, working with landforms too,
Learning the parts of an insect, persevering to tie your shoe,
Pushing in your chair, rolling up your mat,
Using the Moveable Alphabet to spell the word, ‘c-a-t’
A philosophy that helps children be all they can be,
Guiding their learning by following their lead,
The power of the absorbent mind
Soaking up knowledge through and through
